There’s nothing more frustrating than waiting around for your lamps to catch up while the machine is ready to rip. That’s why we built our replacement IR lamps the way we did. We wanted to kill that annoying startup lag. The secret is in the materials. We kept the thermal mass of the filament low so the lamp hits its operating temperature almost instantly. We also use high-purity quartz. Why? Because these machines cycle through heat and cold incredibly fast. Cheaper quartz warps under that kind of stress, but ours holds up.
