To get this right for battery testing, your wattage and voltage have to match the surface area of your sample perfectly. If you’re stress-testing electrolytes or need rapid curing, you’ll want high-wattage tubes to get that heat density. But be careful. Those lamps pull a lot of power the second they fire up. Make sure your transformers can handle that initial surge, or you’re going to have a bad day. Built for the heat We use high-purity quartz glass because, frankly, it’s the only way to stop the tubes from cracking under thermal shock.
